Her first job, at age 16, was in a flower shop. She found her calling early in life and never looked back!
She purposely maintains Jeri Solomon Floral Design as a small, boutique event studio because she believes in attention to detail and that each and every client deserves gorgeous flowers, impeccable design and exceptional service.
She LOVES flowers and helping people especially when it means being a part of a significant event in their lives, no matter how big or small. She’s passionate about taking a seed of idea from a client and finessing it into a gorgeous floral event.
She believes in an inclusive, and equitable environment , where all clients, staff and vendors–whatever their gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation or identity–feel valued and respected.
Jeri published her book Guide to Smart Wedding Planning in October of 2022 to help couples set a strong foundation for their wedding planning journey. It is available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble and wherever books are sold.
Her other loves include her incredibly supportive husband, Jim (he understands he doesn’t see much of her on weekends) her very witty and handsome son, Jason (of course she’s biased!) her tuxedo cat, Hiro, her perennial garden and any kind of chocolate.
She believes practicing yoga solves most dilemmas, and is a Certified Yoga Instructor (RYT-200)
Her motto is: Weddings are stressful. Flowers shouldn’t be.
She’s a founding member of the Boston Wedding Group and has proudly maintained her membership for 20+ years. She has served on the executive board in the capacity of president, vice president, secretary and web chair.
She is a member of the Boston Chapter of NACE (National Association for Catering & Events)
She has won the prestigious WeddingWire Couple’s Choice Award every year since 2010 and The Knot’s Best of Weddings award annually since 2017.
